Legislative Updates
Our local leaders are convening at the State Capitol to advocate for sustained and equitable funding essential to the success of HR1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act). Their efforts focus on reinforcing key service areas that directly support the well‑being of our communities, including SNAP and Medicaid programs, child protection services, and long‑term care Services. By working collaboratively, they aim to ensure that these critical resources remain accessible, adequately funded, and responsive to the needs of individuals and families throughout our region.
